After a couple of windy and rainy weeks, it was a huge relief to see a few days of good winds on the forecast. Also promising was the southwest swell that looked to be pulsing right during the middle of the north wind window. Even so, we all know never to count your chickens before they’re hatched, especially in the South Pacific. Fortunately, it all came together and a few lucky guests, as well as the palagis in the know, were in the right place at the right time and scored a three day tube fest that won’t soon be forgotten. The favourable wind and swell combo allowed the boys to have their pick of the south coast’s best spots, surfing three sessions a day at three different spots was the standard. Fa’afetai tele lava Samoa!
